Self-Funded

Adfam self-funded support is a service entered into voluntarily by those who would like support from Adfam and would like to pay for this support. The support provided is identical to that provided within our free service. We provide the option to self-fund since some of those who have come to us for support have asked to do so due to their own personal financial circumstances, and a desire to contribute to the sustainability of Adfam’s service. Offering a self-funded options enables us to offer more support to more individuals.
What to expect
Our support team are skilled and experienced in supporting those affected by a loved one’s substance use. They will work to understand your needs and priorities for the sessions, and will draw on a ‘toolkit’ of resources and knowledge to best support you.
We offer you the opportunity to meet your support worker before committing to further support sessions, so that you can experience your first session before deciding whether to book further sessions. We recommend 6 support sessions in total as a good number for most people to get the support that they need.
